Tania Hummel
Tania Hummel is a senior HR professional and Executive coach, providing coaching and consultancy services across a range of organisational development and design issues. Creative, pragmatic and focused, Tania creates a safe space for teams and individuals to develop transformational goals whilst building confidence and increasing strategic capability. She is skilled in the use of some of the most innovative psychometric tools on the market, which she uses to help leaders develop emotional agility in the face of uncertainty. She is equally comfortable coaching groups, or individuals and is passionate about developing talent through strategic talent management initiatives.
She has coached teams and senior executives in sectors as diverse as Logistics, Housing, Gaming, Pharma, Financial Services in the UK, US, Switzerland, Holland, Scandinavia, Russia. She has also coached clients as a result of mediation interventions across the NHS. Clients include Electronic Arts (EA), Saga, Technicolor, FedEx, Shire, Scottish Friendly, Sohonet, Magex, Oxford Brookes, ISFE.
Previously Tania led the HR function of Nature and Macmillan, one of the world’s most renowned scientific, academic and education publishers, during a period of transformation from a regionally organised, traditional, print-based business to a global digital and data-driven information provider.
She had strategic and operational accountability for over 5000 employees in over 50 markets dealing with complex people and organisational challenges in countries as diverse as Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Kenya, Mexico, Brazil, India, Japan, Australia and the US. Her key experiences include managing complex employee relations issues in the UK and internationally, executive coaching, talent management, employer brand development, leadership and management development, communications, as well as global compliance and risk management.
In March 2018, she was appointed Senior Advisor on Leadership Development to UNITAR, the training and research arm of the United Nations, advising on content, whilst also training on their behalf at events in Geneva and Morrocco.
